The claims of Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, that his health condition worsened and that he lost his life were on the agenda in social media.
While no official statement was made regarding the allegations that Khamenei lost his life, it was claimed that Khamenei transferred his powers to his son.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was born on 17 July 1939, was appointed as a member of the High Council of the Islamic Revolution after the Islamic Revolution of Iran took place. Khamenei, who became the Iranian Deputy Defense Minister in 1979, also entered the parliament as a Tehran deputy.
Khamenei, who took important military duties during the Iran-Iraq war, was seriously injured in a bomb attack during a speech he gave in a mosque on June 27, 1981 and lost one hand. Khamenei, who served as the President of Iran from 1981 to 1985, was elected as the new religious leader following the death of Ayatollah Khomeini on June 3, 1989.
