According to reports in the Belgian press, the son of one of the elderly nursing home residents near Antwerp, dressed in Santa Claus clothes, wanted to visit the nursing home residents and give them morale before the upcoming Christmas with a few relatives.
Some of the nursing home residents who came into contact with “Santa Claus” after last week’s visit started to show symptoms of Kovid-19.
It was first announced that 45 people were infected, but this number gradually increased.
Authorities announced that 98 people who have stayed in the nursing home so far, 20 people working here have caught Kovid-19, and such a visit is prohibited within the scope of anti-epidemic measures.
It was seen that many people were unmasked in the photographs of the visit day that emerged due to the increase in cases in the nursing home.
